Rekluse Rider of the Month - Ami Houde

Ami Houde, 20 years old and from Canada!! I have been racing for 17 years, following in some big footsteps. My dad, Kim Houde, was Canadian National Champion in '79 and recently won the over 45 and over 50 World Championships. Motocross is not only a sport, but a lifestyle.

I race the Pro Womens Canadian Nationals; unfortunately I broke my arm at the first round the the Nationals this year after finishing 2nd my first moto. My first race back, Milvillle Pro Am (racing with a broken arm, cast and all) I separated my shoulder! Not the best year for me, but I am all healed up and have been hard at work training for the 2010 season! I want to Win the Canadian Womens Nationals this year as well as make my US WMA debut and be a top contender. I strive to be a positive role model for the sport. I also teach beginner MX schools, am a full time student at University after my Business Degree, and enjoy wakeboarding, snowboarding, loud music and anything with an adrenaline rush!!

Plus I freaken LOVE my Rekluse!!!
